If visiting with the family get off at Victory Park and walk to the Perot Museum of Nature & Science (allow at least 1 hour). Have lunch at Taqueria La Ventana for a quick and affordable lunch, or walk to Klyde Warren Park to enjoy food from the Food Trucks (allow about 45 min.). After some fresh air, walk to the Dallas World Aquarium (allow at least 1 hour). With more time, take DART light rail from West End Station and head to the Dallas Zoo to check out the Giants of the Savannah exhibit (allow at least 1 hour).

Then head across the street to the W Hotel for drinks or walk the Katy Trail and have drinks at the Katy Trail Icehouse to mingle with the locals.
